Shaping, scoring, and baking a beautiful loaf. Basking in the heavenly aroma. And finally watching another’s eyes light up as they take a delicious bite.
Hi! My name is Carter and I started Crumb Corner Baking Company to share that experience with my community. It started with baking bread for friends and family. Now, it is a passion that I can share with anyone who wants a delicious loaf.
Meet Theseus
Every loaf of Crumb Corner bread begins with a starter - an active culture of wild yeast that breaks down complex carbohydrates and releases the gas that makes a dough rise. This fermentation is critical to both the structure and the flavor of any bread.
Theseus is my home-grown starter, and is the key ingredient in every loaf I bake.
